I have known Sharmisthaji for about 8 years and trained with her for 5 of those years. Within our classes, she has created a safe space that has enabled me to be confident enough to experiment with my voice, all while helping me build a sense of security and trust in my natural vocal abilities. Sharmisthaji also puts an enormous amount of effort into fostering a positive student-teacher relationship which is crucial in music education. The passion and care with which she teaches and sculpts her students voices' has consistently inspired me to learn more about music. Simply put, her constant encouragement and commitment to my musical education has made learning with her an honor and a privilege.
